Rainy Days & Barry S. Falls

It feels unusual not to have a full work-programme during the school holidays, and I admit I had a great week. Busier than usual though, lots of walking, hiking, a bit of drive-way work, took a family fishing, some photography, went up Mt. Hirakimata and things going well, I’ll even be “busier” in the upcoming weeks. There is a vacation coming up as well soon, and I’m looking forward to assembling and using my new chainsaw.

A couple weeks ago, it rained hard for 3-4 hours and I had a go at capturing it. I was sitting inside in my “office” and wondered if this downpour could get any heavier. It reminded me of charlatans, witches, the visionary and similar people who shower their biased opinion onto others relentlessly. It can be difficult to escape them, just like when caught out in a storm.

Be weary my friends, check the forecast, be prepared and when you want clarity, just go and stand in the heavy rain, feel the cold, feel the wet, feel yourself, feel nature.

The Barry S. Falls.
The Barry S. Falls.
