Quiet & Sunny Sunday

After four days of torrential rain, thunder storms and gusting winds, it’s so great to relax on an extremely quiet and very sunny Sunday. Other than acknowledging and enjoying the peace and serenity, I worked on my garden projects. I’m expecting to yield about 50% more produce than last year. Basically, it’s really easy:

  • improve constantly the quality of the soil, by utilizing home-made compost
  • create new raised beds and new garden areas
  • germinate seeds in paper cups inside/outside and transplant once the seedlings are big enough
I'll be using this raised bed to grow my salads.

I empty a couple sea-weed bags a week into the pen and re-use it after a month as base for raised garden beds.

Some old tyred re-used to grow beans.

Other than this I’ve got some pictures from hiking in the backyard; time to turn the computer off and enjoy the rest of this particularly peaceful Sunday. Cheers.
